Alberta Company Turns Cattle Manure Into Natural Gas

Manure from thousands of southern Alberta cattle will be used to supply renewable natural gas, while at the same time harmful carbon dioxide emmisions will be buried, in a first-of-its-kind project. Winter’s Worst Widens East Region NG Storage Deficit

EIA on Thursday reported that utilities in the East withdrew 64 Bcf from storage for the Feb. 6 period. That lowered inventories to 438 Bcf and put stocks 13.4% below the five-year average and 7.6% below the year-earlier level.
