Storm Alert – Tropical Storm Bertha – July 22, 2026

By Published On: July 22, 2026Categories: Alerts, Storm Season, Supply, Weather Alert

Tropical Storm Bertha continues to move westward along the northern Gulf Coast as the system gradually weakens. As of Wednesday morning, maximum sustained winds remain near 50 mph, with the storm tracking west towards Louisiana and Texas.

While the storm is weakening, heavy rainfall, localized flooding, and coastal surge remain the primary hazards. Rainfall totals of 1 to 4 inches, with isolated amounts up to 6 inches, are possible from southern Louisiana westward into portions of southeast Texas. Minor to moderate coastal flooding and storm surge remain possible along portions of the Louisiana and Mississippi coastlines, and localized travel disruptions may occur where flooding develops.

What This Means for Operations

Mansfield continues to monitor Tropical Storm Bertha, terminal operations, regional fuel inventories, road conditions, and transportation networks across the Gulf Coast. We are actively communicating with our delivery partners to prevent any potential delivery disruptions.

At this time, operations remain stable, although localized delays are possible in areas experiencing flooding, coastal impacts, or temporary transportation disruptions. We do not anticipate widespread fuel supply interruptions and will communicate any operational impacts on fuel deliveries or product availability as conditions evolve.

Recommended Actions

As a precaution, Mansfield-managed inventory locations have been topped off before the storm to help maintain supply continuity.

Customers in potentially affected areas should continue placing orders as early as possible and allow additional time for scheduling and delivery where weather impacts are expected. Please also ensure tanks, generators, and other fuel-powered equipment remain accessible to receive fuel deliveries.

Please contact your Mansfield representative with any questions or urgent fuel supply needs.
