The market is fairly quiet as the last week of trading for the year is finally upon us. Currently, we are up $0.07 on the heels of a potential pattern change, bringing cold weather to the back half of the 11-15 day forecast. Production remains strong and as long as we have cold weather, we should remain balanced. Next week will be ugly with the warmup coming, albeit a short one. There are a few meteorologists that foresee another major cold front moving across the US around the third week of January, too far out to determine for certain but the market is taking notice.

Weather Forecast Sparks Reversal as Futures Eye Rally
February Natural Gas futures posted a potentially bullish outside-move closing price reversal bottom on Friday in a thinly traded holiday week. The volume was light throughout the week; nonetheless, the chart pattern strongly indicates the buying was greater than the selling at current price levels. After hitting a multi-month low early in the week at $3.467, the market rebounded into the weekly close at $3.877, up $0.211 or +5.76%. … https://tinyurl.com/293enrpu
