Winter Storm Alert – Kingston – February 18, 2025

By Published On: February 18, 2025Categories: Alerts, Daily Market News & Insights, Winter Weather

Extremely cold weather, along with snowfalls and ice, are sweeping across the country this week, with many parts of North America experiencing sub-zero temperatures. Winter Storm Kingston will move over the mid-Atlantic region later this week, and pockets of snowy weather are emerging in different regions nationwide.

Mansfield is proactively filling tanks for inventory managed customers across the affected regions in anticipation of the storm and collaborating with our carrier partners  to establish a plan for post-storm operations.

In addition to potential delivery concerns from icy roads and snowy weather, freezing temperatures can cause diesel gelling issues that can shut down fleet operations. With sub-zero temperatures expected across the northern mid-continent region, gelling or frozen water in fuel is a possibility. If your site is experiencing issues, download Mansfield’s Diesel Gelling Solution Guide for remediation options.
