Mansfield Energy announced today that it has expanded its offering of renewable diesel (RD) to include Houston, TX, and surrounding markets. The strategic physical inventory position allows Mansfield to deliver renewable diesel, a drop-in replacement for petroleum diesel that offers up to 70% lower emissions and enhanced performance, to customers beyond the West Coast who are working to improve efficiency and meet their corporate emissions goals. Mansfield’s geographic expansion of RD supply is a strategic step forward in the company’s commitment to empowering customers to achieve their sustainability goals. Mansfield’s history in the renewable diesel market dates back to 2010 when it became the initial marketer for the U.S.’s first scalable renewable diesel plant. Each year, Mansfield distributes hundreds of millions of gallons of renewable products, including renewable diesel, biodiesel, and ethanol.
