Mansfield Energy is a family business serving North America’s largest consumers of transportation and power generation fuels. As a second-generation owner, Michael has developed Mansfield from a regional 25 employee company into a recognized North American leader of diversified energy products and services with 560 team members. As a 36-year industry veteran, Michael Mansfield, Chief Executive Officer, maintains a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement across the organization and relies on Mansfield’s 6 Core Principles to guide daily decisions. Michael continues to focus on leadership team development, strategy and driving Mansfield’s culture.
John Byrd, Chief Financial Officer, has been with Mansfield 12 years and as CFO, he oversees all Mansfield back-office functions including credit, cash application, accounting, risk and finance. Prior to his current role, John was Mansfield’s Chief Operating Officer where he focused on increasing efficiencies across the growing organization by applying transactional and operational metrics.
Before joining Mansfield, John was the Senior Vice President of Accounting and Administration and Corporate Controller for TransMontaigne, where he was responsible for both operational and back-office accounting. Prior to TransMontaigne, John was with Arthur Andersen in both the Audit and Business Process Outsourcing Divisions where he provided process consulting for energy trading companies. John graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University.
Greg Allarding, Chief Information Officer, leads Mansfield’s IT strategy to support the company’s continued growth. He effectively applies new technologies to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer value, manage risk and uncover opportunities. Before joining Mansfield, Greg was CIO and Sr. Vice President of Operations for Comverge, a demand response provider to electric utilities. In this role, he was responsible for Utility Program Operations, Program Marketing, IT, Network Operations Center, Supply Chain and Call Center Operations. A large portion of Greg’s career was with Accenture, where he spent 16 years managing complex system implementations and developing high-performance technology teams focused on process improvement and operations. Greg graduated with a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida.
Andy Milton, SVP Supply and Distribution, has been with the Mansfield team since 2005. His deep experience spans all aspects of the fuel supply chain from truck dispatch, analytics and index pricing to hedging and bulk purchasing. As SVP of Supply & Distribution, Andy is responsible for all fuel and full-truck freight procurement along with overseeing the daily dispatch and execution process. Prior to joining Mansfield, Andy was with RaceTrac Petroleum for six years where he managed fuel procurement for RaceTrac and RaceWay retail stations. Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business from Georgia Southern University.
As Vice President of Canadian Sales, Acquisitions and Valuations, Kevin is responsible for managing Mansfield’s customer relationships, acquisitions and sales team in Canada. Kevin joined Mansfield after retiring from a 35-year career with Imperial Oil in Canada where he held multiple ExxonMobil assignments in Canada and in the United States, culminating as Wholesale Manager for North America. Kevin is a CPA, CMA.
As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom Horvatits has executive responsibility for core C&I sales, NBD sales, strategic accounts, government sales, Mansfield OnDemand sales, Canadian sales, and corporate and product marketing functions. Tom’s work includes pursuing of ratable sales growth by ensuring well-integrated customer support across sales and operations and sustaining a sales culture of continuous innovation and creativity. Tom brings over 15 years of experience in transportation fuels and lubricants provisioning solutions to commercial & industrial customers in land, marine, and aviation verticals.
Prior to joining Mansfield, Tom was Vice President for sales, operations, and financial performance at Tropic Oil.
Tom possesses strong experience in sales management, sales tools and execution, and P&L accountability,
across bulk fuels, fleet fueling solutions, lubricants, DEF, equipment programs, and specialty products.
As General Manager of Mansfield Power and Gas, LLC, Tammy is responsible for all commercial and operational activities, including strategy, sales and marketing, scheduling, trading and customer service functions. Tammy’s expertise spans natural gas, power, liquefied natural gas, natural gas liquids, coal and renewable products. Tammy’s past roles include Vice President of Utility Sales, Power Origination, and Mergers and Acquisitions for Shell Energy N.A. Prior to Shell, Tammy held various senior leadership roles at RBS Sempra Commodities and its predecessor company, Sempra Commodities. These roles include, Managing Director leading derivatives marketing to bank customers and serving as the liaison between the trading company and the bank.
Prior to Sempra, Tammy was Vice President and Head of Global LNG for Dynegy, Inc. where she developed a liquefied natural gas business and was accountable for all business strategy and milestones resulting in the Hackberry LNG facility, later sold to Sempra Energy and renamed Cameron LNG. Earlier in her career, Tammy was Vice President of U.S. Wholesale Energy Trading and Origination for BP Gas & Power. Tammy holds a BBA in Accounting & Finance from the University of North Alabama. She was named one of the top 15 Business Women of Houston in 2016 by the U.S. National Diversity Council.
As Vice President, Human Resources, Cole Carroll brings over 24 years of experience in the automotive industry and has specialized in creating opportunities to accelerate talent for roles of greater responsibility.
Cole most recently led the Global Leadership Development practice for Cox Automotive and prior to that, led the Field HR and Talent Acquisition teams for AutoTrader across North America. Previously, Cole spent 17 years with Enterprise Holdings, Inc. where she built and led sales teams and later spearheaded the re-building of the HR, Training, Compensation and Talent Acquisition teams. Cole is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Business Administration and holds SPHR Senior Professional in Human Resources and sHRBP Strategic HR Business Partner certifications.
As President and Chief Operating Officer of Mansfield Service Partners, Rocky Dewbre is tasked with providing governance of Mansfield’s asset-intensive regional business units as well as leading the execution of the company’s acquisition projects.
Mr. Dewbre began his career as a consultant with Deloitte & Touche before entering the energy industry in 1991 as an auditor for Arco. He later served as President of Susser Petroleum, where, over twenty-two years, he completed eighteen acquisitions and grew the business into a publicly traded Fortune 500 company. Most recently, he served as CEO of Empire Petroleum and sits on the board of Core Mark.
As Mansfield’s General Counsel, Brad Puryear’s responsibilities include governing all legal affairs for the Mansfield companies, including structuring M&A and Strategic Alliance activity. He oversees insurance risk management and serves as government relations liaison. Brad led Mansfield’s business expansion into Canada, widening the company’s North American presence. He serves as President of the Society of Independent Gas Marketers of America (SIGMA) and is a Board Member of the Florida Petroleum Marketers State and National Affairs Committee. Brad serves on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors. He is a past President of the Gainesville Jaycees and the March of Dimes. He has also previously been on the Board of Directors for Northeast Georgia Health Partners. Brad graduated from Marshall University, cum laude with a B.A. Degree in Economics and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the Marshall University Athletic Hall of Fame.
