By Published On: October 4, 2024Categories: Alerts, Storm Season

Markets are making progress towards normal, with several markets downgraded based on the latest supply and freight conditions. Currently, Tampa and Orlando present the most notable challenges, given wait times at the rack and pipeline shipping times. Although those markets are not expected to change significantly over the weekend, the arrival of fresh diesel pipeline shipments in Orlando should bring relief by next week.

Below is the list of markets by status. In Code Yellow markets, Mansfield requires 24-hour notice for new deliveries.  In Code Orange markets, the requested lead time is 48-hrs. In Code Red markets, Mansfield is requesting 72-hr notice for new deliveries.

North Augusta, SC – Code Yellow (24-hrs)

Niceville, FL – Code Yellow (24-hrs)

Panama City, FL – Code Yellow (24-hrs)

Tampa, FL – Code Orange (48-hrs)

Orlando, FL – Code Red (72-hrs)

Future Storm Outlook

The tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico has seen a small increase in its probability of formation, rising to a 50% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone. Current forecasts show the system moving over Florida, either as a formed storm or as disbanded rain and winds. Mansfield will continue to monitor the disturbance for possible development early next week.
