The market tried to rally overnight on the heels of strong 1-5 days of demand in the Northeast and Midwest areas. Texas is hot. However, renewables are strong and keeping prices lower. We typically see a summer rally end around the first of July, so we are going to need continued strong heat or production losses, or we will find ourselves back in the $3.00 to $3.35 range bound market.

Natural Gas Continues to Go Sideways Despite Heat

The natural gas market has shown itself to be very choppy at the moment as we are hanging around the 200-day EMA. That being said, there was a little bit of a pop, but that was based on the idea of a heat wave in the United States. The problem with that is that the heat wave is very short-lived.
