Mansfield extends its wishes for safety and warmth to all those in the path of Winter Storm Fern.

Sunday brought little change for fuel markets. With ice and snow pervasive across the country, fuel trucks sat idle as Fern passed overhead.

Many fleets will re-evaluate plans on Monday, resuming operations as soon as it is safe. Others have indicated they don’t expect to resume until Tuesday. Whether your locations are still running, opening tomorrow, or closed for days, it’s important to know what to do post-storm.

Check out Mansfield’s guide for post-storm fuel operations, including when to communicate with your supplier, how to determine if fuel is gelled, and how to prevent missed deliveries due to ice.

Post Storm Fuel Guidance

Mansfield has teams working around the clock to ensure emergency needs are handled throughout the United States. To report changes in demand or to speak with Mansfield’s fuel delivery team, reach out to our 24/7 operations line: 1-800-695-6626.

Due to active severe weather making deliveries unsafe between today and tomorrow, many markets are effectively closed until conditions warm. Mansfield remains on Code Red from Texas up to New England, requesting 72-hour notice for new deliveries. Mansfield remains on Code Orange in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, requesting 48-hour notice.
