Storm Alert – Hurricane Erin – August 20, 2025

By Published On: August 20, 2025Categories: Alerts, Storm Season, Weather Alert

Mansfield continues to actively monitor Hurricane Erin, which remains a Category 2 storm slowly moving over the western Atlantic. Forecast models continue to show the system staying offshore, with no direct U.S. landfall expected. Sustained high wind speeds are anticipated along the coastline, and we do expect carriers to begin making decisions to pull trucks off the road later today or tomorrow due to unsafe conditions.

In addition to Erin, Mansfield is monitoring the trailing disturbance in the Atlantic, which is not expected to make landfall as its trajectory is leaning away from the US coastline.

At this time, no supply disruptions have been reported, and operations are proceeding normally. Mansfield remains in close coordination with carrier partners to manage delivery schedules and maintain fuel supply continuity for customers in potentially impacted areas.
