Storm Alert – Hurricane Erin – August 19, 2025
Mansfield continues to actively monitor Hurricane Erin, now a Category 3 storm tracking northwest over the western Atlantic. While Erin remains a sizeable hurricane, current forecast models indicate the system will stay offshore, passing east of the Bahamas and remaining well away from a direct U.S. landfall.
At this time, there are no major disruptions anticipated for fuel terminals, supply points, or ports along the U.S. East Coast. Operations at key fuel hubs are proceeding as normal and fuel supply continuity is expected to be maintained throughout the week.
Mansfield remains vigilant, coordinating with partners and monitoring for any changes that could impact deliveries. If Hurricane Erin’s path or intensity shifts, Mansfield will move quickly to update customers and adjust contingency plans.
Two additional weather systems trail Hurricane Erin, and the immediate one has a 60% chance of developing into a major storm. Mansfield is monitoring this situation closely and will remain on alert to communicate proactively as the situation evolves.
