Storm Alert – Potential Cyclone Dexter – July 15, 2025

Mansfield is closely monitoring Invest 93, a weather system with a 40% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next seven days. The storm is currently forecast to move westward across the Florida peninsula today and tonight before entering the Gulf of America by midweek.

Regardless of whether the system strengthens, it’s expected to bring heavy rainfall that could cause localized flooding across parts of Florida through the middle of the week. If the storm intensifies into a named system, it will be designated Tropical Storm Dexter.

Mansfield is actively monitoring the system and taking proactive steps to ensure continuity of fuel supply in potentially impacted areas, including Florida and the Gulf Coast region. At this time, no port condition changes have been reported, and no long-term fuel infrastructure disruptions are expected.

Mansfield will remain on alert throughout the week and will provide updates as the storm progresses.
