Weather Alert – California Wildfires – January 8, 2025

By Published On: January 8, 2025Categories: Alerts, Storm Season, Weather Alert

Ongoing wildfires in California, particularly across Los Angeles County, are expected to cause minor delays in fuel deliveries over the next several days. These devastating fires, driven by Santa Ana winds with recorded gusts of 60-71 mph in Los Angeles and 80-90 mph in Burbank and surrounding areas, have resulted in downed trees and power lines, creating hazardous delivery conditions. More than 1,000 homes, businesses, and other structures have been destroyed, making this one of the most destructive firestorms in the region’s history.

Mansfield’s top priority is the safety of our employees, customers, and carrier partners. Some fuel carriers are actively navigating around impacted areas to ensure safe transportation and delivery routes. While we are working diligently to minimize disruptions, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we adapt to these challenging conditions.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed. If you have any questions or specific concerns about your deliveries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your dedicated account representative.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
