Storm Alert – October 18, 2024 – Post Hurricane Milton

By Published On: October 18, 2024Categories: Alerts, Storm Season

Fueling conditions across Florida are significantly better than they were following the storms. All fuel terminals are back in operations this week, and the pipeline supplying fuel from Tampa to Orlando has had some time to re-supply that market with gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.

While the need for long-hauls has improved, supply and freight capacity remain somewhat strained. Markets are still facing longer-than-usual lines at the rack at some points, and carriers are catching up on the backlog of deliveries following the storm.

To allow time for market recovery, Mansfield is maintaining Florida’s Code Orange status, requesting 48-hour notice for new deliveries. Please continue to coordinate with your Mansfield representative for specific delivery needs or questions. We are working diligently to bring markets back to a state of full recovery.
